‘Wimbledon House’ Celebrating the Old + New
Progress at our Wimbledon House project. A axonometric diagram describes the structural approach to the construction of the new extension. Collaborating very closely with BanfieldWood has been instrumental in achieving precision for our design and construction. Every detail meticulously planned, every challenge elegantly solved.
The design detailing and selected bricks celebrate the perfect bridge between eras, complementing the existing structure while subtly distinguishing the new extension. Each handcrafted brick adds unique texture and character, creating clean, modern lines that speak to contemporary design. The white hue pays homage to the original structure’s aesthetic while introducing a fresh, bright aspect to the extension.
This thoughtful choice of materials will demonstrate how modern extensions can respect and enhance the character of older homes, crafting a cohesive narrative in brick and mortar.
